SOURCE: Witchblade (owned by Top Cow/ Image Comics).
MAIN INCARNATIONS: The comic series.
SPECIES: Human. RESIDENCE: New York, United States. OCCUPATION: NYPD police officer/ detective and wielder of the "Witchblade," a "male" (go figure), ancient, sentient artifact of unusual powers. This artifact also has an organic component as it needs to create a symbiotic relationship with "his" host.
PERSONALITY: She's kind of a rough-spoken and mannered lady, but she also knows how to be a heroine when she needs to be. What's more interesting about her is that, despite accepting and even wanting to keep the Witchblade with her, she still longs to have a normal human life.
LOOKS: She's a total babe. Plus, the Witchblade happens to rip all of her clothes off and wrap itself around her body creating a very revealing "armor" (more like a microkini). Oh, and I just love brunettes! They're so sexy!
IQ FACTOR: Clever. She perhaps doesn't go around solving riddles, but she came across to me as a rather clever girl. Can't say exactly why though. It's been a while since I read the comic book.
"BADASS" FACTOR: Mighty. Her supernatural weapon, the Witchblade, makes her much more athletic and agile than she already is (as a human). Plus the thing can fire energy blasts and transform into an assortment of weapons, mostly cutting ones. Also, the fact that it can turn itself into a tougher armor when needed means Sara also has some nice protection.
WHY I PICKED HER: Witchblade was one of the first comics I kind of read more throughly (although never made past the fifth or sixth publication). I guess that was good enough to make an impression on me. Plus, once you do, it is hard NOT to notice the good-looking "Pez" (as other characters lovingly call her) and her wicked gauntlet/bikini.
